Wilkinson Trophy Target: Photo Competition Results | New Zealand Deerstalkers Association Inc
The home of recreational hunters and shooters in New Zealand
In the lead‑up to this year’s conference, we ran a photo competition to help select a potential new image for the Wilkinson Trophy Target. Members were invited to submit a broadside photograph of a Red Hind, and we’re pleased to say we received a great range of entries.
After careful consideration, the winning photo has been chosen, and we are delighted to announce that it was supplied by Past National President, Trevor Chappell.

What Happens Next?
With the winning image selected, we now move into the development stage of the target refresh.
The selected photograph will be translated into a photo-real Red Hind target for use as an official Wilkinson target.
We hope to distribute targets to branches, with additional targets, along with replacement centres, made available through the online shop.
